Our Hotel Parthenius is located on the coasts of the Upper Tyrrhenian Cosentino, near the town of Diamante, near the sea, just in front of the ancient and historic island of Cirella.
Its name is strongly inspired by the history that characterizes Cirella, "the oldest port city" of Magna Graecia between 600 and 550 BC.
Today's town was once a thriving economic and trading center thanks to the presence of the Portus Parthenius Phocensium, the port from which our hotel takes its name.
Magnificent view from our rooms that directly overlook the island of Cirella, where you can admire the ruins of the Ancient Tower built in 1562 to prevent the assault of the Turkish pirates on the town of Cirella.
Next to the archaic coastal village of Cirella stands the splendid Diamante . Defined, by the many literati who have known it, as "The pearl of the Tyrrhenian", the city of Diamante is known to all for its amazing murals that have designated it as "the most painted city in Italy".
